In 2020, feeling unfulfilled, my partner and I sold everything and quit our jobs to pursue life on our own terms. We spent more than two years converting a decommissioned school bus into our gorgeous cabin-on-wheels, and now we travel the United States full-time in our skoolie. (Yes, it's even cooler than it sounds and I have a recording booth inside!)
My journey as a digital nomad who left the corporate world to pursue my dream, combined with my own personal growth, and experience teaching yoga to recovery groups, has enriched me with an invaluable perspective that I bring to all my work. The Power of a Professional Female Millennial Voice Talent

That's where I come in! Aside from my chiseled jaw line and having the voice of an angel (thanks for the kind words, mom), female millennial voiceover artists are more relatable and they have the ability to connect with potential clients on a deeper level. Phil McAleer, a psychologist at the University of Glasgow, wanted to find out how people perceive different voices in their head. To do this, the scientist collected 64 audio recordings by men and women. Within the readings, each of the participants said the word "hello." McAleer extracted the "hellos" from the recordings and played them back for 320 listeners who rated them on 10 different personality traits, including trustworthiness, aggressiveness, confidence, dominance and warmth.
The participants largely agreed on which voice matched each of the personality traits. The pitch for this particular individual tone was much lower than the male deemed most trustworthy. This is likely the case because a higher-pitched male voice is closer to the natural pitch of a female, making the men sound less aggressive and friendlier than the lower male voices.
So, what makes a feminine voice even more trustworthy? Their speech patterns, and more specifically, whether their voices rise or fall at the end of the word, says McAleer. "When she drops her voice at the end, is showing a degree of certainty and so can be trusted."
